Did you know that you don't have to wait for the menu? Dead useful
if you have 5 squintillion files in the buffer list and you know
that the one you want is third in the stack - a quick <esc> e 3 and
Bob's your uncle.

There's two main school's of thought in User Interface design.
1. make everything a user variable parameter (the X method)
2. only allow one way of doing things but make sure it's right (the Mac
method)
and the halfway house:
1.5 everything's a user variable parameter, but get the defaults
right so that no-one needs to care. Ever looked at
