The binaries in the tar archives linux1553.tar.gz and
linuxmotif1553.tar.gz on the Birmingham site both do. The
mini-distribution is also 15.53 as far as its poplog content is
concerned. The user should not be able to tell the difference between
poplog 15.53 linked with libc5 and poplog 15.53 linked with libc6.

Teaching materials written in pop-11 or the other poplog languages are
portable across systems, as are text files, of course. The
mini-distribution leaves out some source files and some documentation,
but any or all of it can be added back in.
