Thanks !
I had searched the earlier installation tree for any fileID: *oreach*
and the most likely seemed to be lib/database/foreach.p.
But I expected to find 'machine code'.

Wrongly, I've been accusing poplog of being feature-bloated, with
all these redudndant constructs like 'foreach'.
Now it seems they are just convenient extensions., and NOT
reserved words - part of the core-syntax ?

Poplog is TOO clever for my inappropriate view, based on a history
of transistors & bits/bytes > registers > machine-coded > compliers.

I wonder if a 'core system' could fit on a single 1M4 diskette ?
