Subject:vedsetwindow

I've been pestering Aaron enough the last few days, so I'd better return
to posting here [though I het he's the one to answer anyway... (:-)]

I'm still trying to set up my pop11 environment in a way that I find
convenient. In particular, having two small text 'windows' in ved
is not much use to me, because I can always pop open another Terminal
window that is larger and easier to work in.

As Aaron pointed out to me, I can use '<esc>w' to switch to a single window
after I've started ved, but I'd much rather have one window the default,
and switch to two if I want.

I discovered 'vedsetwindow()', but wherever I put this in any startup
file, it apparently gets annulled by the time ved actually starts.

Is there anything I can do to get the behaviour I desire?

Thanks,
