Subject:Suggestion for improvments

Pop11 is a god flexible language, BUT it is let down by the editor. XVed
is limited in comparison to other laguage editors. Granted many other
language editors are worked on my groups of people, but even basic and
VERY useful features like syntax highlighting aren't there.

Also XVed seems to be buggy. Randomly it decides it won't compile the
current procedure properly (using ESC + C) saying missing enddefine,
when it is clearly there, and there is no problems in the code. It
compiles if you highlight the procedure using the range selectors.

Is possible for the next release of Poplog to see syntax highlighting in
XVed, even very basic highlighting that changes comments to red, and
maybe if, then else, etc to yellow, would make code MUCH more clear, and
easier to read. I know xemacs can be used, but the majority of XVed
isn't to bad.
