   Hi Bernard,
              The method in the message Aaron pointed you to works
pretty well, the only caveat is to start poplog from a plain X-Term if
you are using a GUI.
              Another possible way, which I mean to try myself soon, now
that Brent has kindly made a Debian package of Linux Poplog, is to
install the linux_base-debian port in FreeBSD's /usr/ports/emulators.
              This apparently works very well and install with dpkg -i
the Debian package here

               and operate in a chrooted environment.
