There aren't any good textbooks on pop11...... Not that cover the current
abilities of pop11 anyway. All the ones I saw on the course we did last year
were quite old. None of them cover lexical scoping for example which I would
consider essential to good programing practice. There are also no books that
cover the more advanced areas of pop11 programing.
IMHO The only good referance (other than the teach and ref files) is Aaron
Sloman's Primer. This is included as 'teach primer' in our installation. As
stated in the introduction to the primer you'll probably need some prior
programing experience to completely follow it.
