The problem is that xterm swallows the %x, thinking it is a geometry
argument. This is because xterm is evil.

The best I can come up with off hand is

	"pop"		! "xterm -exec sh -c 'exec pop11 %x' &"

Though there might be a better one.

Another terminal emulator like mterm or shelltool would be another
option. 

Or perhaps it's possible to drop right into XVed without needing a
terminal window at all?
