While we're on the subject of the history of Pop languages, I'd like
to say that, in my humble opinion, it was a mistake to call Poplog's
Pop, Pop-11; for if a different company produces a programming
system with a language called Pop-12, there is a great danger that
potential clients will tend to assume that it's better because it is
apparently newer.
Oh well, what's done is done.
