Subject:relinking poplog for redhat 7.3

I've just done it.

I created a new directory tree wtih poplog in it.

I edited

    $usepop/pop/pop/poplink_cmnd

so that the path names referred to the new location.

(It's a pity that that automatically generated file uses the
actual path names of libraries, not $usepop/pop/... which would save
editing after relocation.)

I ran it.

That produced newpop11.

I did
    cp newpop11 basepop11

Then
    $popcom/mkstartup
    $popcom/makeimages

Then rebuilt local saved images in poplocabin.

Everything worked first time.

I guess there's something to be added to
    http://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/research/poplog/sysdoc/rebuilding

about using the poplink_cmnd script (which is automatically
generated at some stage, but can be run without having a running
poplog, since it just runs the linker).

Apologies to all who had to go via a more tortuous route using
    http://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/research/poplog/tools/relinking.linux.poplog

or worse...

Before long I'll produce a packaged version for people to download
if they are starting up poplog with redhat 7.3
