I'm sorry -- I was confused. I thought that the "Open
Source Poplog" site at http://www.poplog.org was
associated with the Sourceforge OpenPoplog
(http://openpoplog.sourceforge.net). The
www.poplog.org site is the one with the download
errors (ftp://ftp.bel-epa.com/pub/poplog).

I downloaded this yesterday and can verify that it
works on my system.

I may be able to help out. The only setup tool I'm
familiar with is Inno Setup, so if you aren't planning
on using that I would be of limited help.
Where I could help is on the Linux side, especially
with regard to creating a Debian package and working
on the build process.

I agree with your goal of generating a new release. I
tried to mix bits and pieces I found from the various
web links -- a single source for the current release
would have been a big help.
Let me know if you have anything you would like help
on. My primary interests are:
1. Debian packaging
2. Linux build process
3. Helping with the native Windows stuff (I'm of
limited help here).
I'm already on sourceforge as 'bfulgham'.
