Thanks for the help Aaron,

I think you have identified the problem. However I was unable to link with
motif.

I tried this command which produced the following error message.

Sussex Poplog Version 15.53
Sussex Poplog Version 15.53
NEWPOP started on Wed Jul 14 15:14:03 BST 2004
system = pc
usepop = /usr/local/poplog/current.poplog
popsys = /usr/local/poplog/current.poplog/pop/pop
popsrc = /usr/local/poplog/current.poplog/pop/src
*** Error - can't open options file: x=-xm
*** Interrupted

I then checked for /usr/X11R6/lib/libXm.so. I didn't have this exact file
but I did have a slight variation (libXm.so.0.3 i think it was). I created a
link to this file and called it libXm.so but produced the same message.

These keys work fine. Thanks.

I must have made a mistake with XMOTIF =>
As you suspected it does produce:

;;; DECLARING VARIABLE
** <undef XMOTIF>

when I use poplog pop11

Produces:

**  mit

I hope this helps.

Whilst produces:

** [<ident [-L/usr/X11R6/lib]> <ident [-lXt -lX11]>]

-lXm and -lXext are suspicious by their abscence!

ENTER teach ved (or the Ctrl G equivalent) produces another window which I
can move separately.
I guess this means I have XVed and I'm not using motif.

I hope this brings us a step closer to a solution. In the mean time I uses
XVed as is. However could you tell me if this will lead further problems
whilst using SimAgent.

Thanks again, I look forward to hearing from you.

Richard.
