Eh? This certainly doesn't happen here.... perhaps a more up-to-date
xterm at Sussex. Anyway,

    "Pop-11"    ! "xterm -e pop11 %x &"

works fine for me...

(if the %x is incorrectly being parsed as the geometry of the Textronix
window on some xterms, perhaps giving an explicit geometry argument
will solve the problem.)
