Subject:Pop11 Eliza speeds up

Our network connection was upgraded last night. As a result various
things seem to be much faster. In particular eliza has speeded up
so I suppose downloads could also be faster.

This sort of thing is no longer quite so painfully slow,
(at least via the blueyonder cable modem connection).

So perhaps it's worth putting a little effort into improving the
responses:

You: your network connection has speeded up
Eliza: DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE I AM A MACHINE?
You: you can now respond faster than I can type a sentence
Eliza: TOO VERBOSE AGAIN!
You: That's not why you are faster
Eliza: SUPPOSE THATS NOT WHY ME WERE NOT FASTER
You: you might be slower if you checked your syntax
Eliza: PERHAPS IT'S ALL THE FAULT OF THE GOVERNMENT?
You: governments are not in charge of your syntax
Eliza: WHY DO ACADEMICS USE JARGON?
You: you are avoiding answering me
Eliza: DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD BE AVOIDING ANSWERING EACH OTHER?
You: that's the first time you have paid any attention
Eliza: THATS THE FIRST TIME ME HAVE PAID ANY ATTENTION
You: some new programming is needed
Eliza: PLEASE GIVE AN EXAMPLE
