Here too! Scheme has a load function that allows one to load a file.
The course-specific stuff is available via the web-page using a
normal browser as well as via the ved_browse capability. So no
problem, other than actually getting emacs to run Scheme
as a child process, which I haven't tried, tho' I suspect
the scheme mode would work OK, except possibly w.r.t. the prompt.
