Even though Poplog is pretty compact compared with similar tools,
you will need to run with virtual memory (unless you buy some more
RAM, which isn't cheap). I use Poplog on a 486DX/33 PC with 8M RAM
and although it swaps a little, it isn't too bad (even running Poplog
under X is just about bearable!).
As for the terminal, you should try setting TERM to be either 'linux'
or 'con80x25' when you log in (unfortunately the default value of
TERM seems to differ on different versions and different distributions
of Linux). This should allow Ved to load a suitable keymap and allow
the keypad ENTER key to work properly.
