There is now a new version of this for testing

Installation is now even simpler (e.g. you don't need to put a link in
/usr/X11R6/lib/ for motif any more) and some minor bugs in the
installation process are fixed. Also xved copes with more variants
of keypad configuration.

It creates a startup subdirectory when you run the install scripts which
include two automatically generated scripts for running poplog at the
specified location.
poplog
for csh/tcsh users
poplog.sh
for bash/ksh/sh users
These set the environment variables then run their argument. Either can
be used either as a command to be run or a file to be 'sourced' (e.g. in
a login script) so that afterwards the environment variables are all
set.
I've tried it on redhat 8 and redhat 9, but the linking process
does not yet work on redhat 7.1 for some reason. I may have to
build a different version for that.
If anyone can try it on other systems please let me know what happens.
Thanks.
