I've added a first draft scrolling text utility to the pop-11 RCLIB
package in:
ftp://ftp.cs.bham.ac.uk/pub/dist/poplog/rclib/
or
ftp://ftp.cs.bham.ac.uk/pub/dist/poplog/rclib/rctar.gz
Details of the new draft library file are in
ftp://ftp.cs.bham.ac.uk/pub/dist/poplog/rclib/lib/rc_scrolltext.p
(Also see REF XpwScrollText)
However, I have been totally unable to work out how to highlight
an arbitrary line in the panel. Instead I've had to make a
pointer on the left move up and down as the selected line
changes.
Can anyone tell me how to highlight one line -- or even just to change
the foreground and background colours for one line - I find that
attempting to change either immediately changes the whole panel.
I assume this can be done because Xved uses the facility to highlight
selected text area.
Alternatively, can anyone tell me how to draw lines in the scrolltext
panel. It must be possible, though apparently not using the facilities
defined for XpwGraphic.
I am using Poplog Version 15.5 (on Suns, Dec Alphas).
Thanks.
Aaron
