We have been archiving quite a lot of usenet stuff here in Birmingham
and need to save some of the disk space. In particular we have the
comp.lang.pop archives sijnce 1992 (including messages sent to
pop-forum) currently taking up about 6 MBytes. We are likely do
a lot of purging, e.g. deleting stuff prior to 1995. Does anyone
want to take the old archives before they are deleted? Try
ftp://ftp.cs.bham.ac.uk/pub/usenet/comp.lang.pop
All messages are compressed using gzip, so its not a terribly
convenient format anyway.
