When reporting a problem like this it is important to specify
machine, operating system and any other information, e.g. type of
display. (8 bit, 16 bit, ??)
If you have a version of rclib which was produced before December 27
1999 and you are using it with a 16 or 24 bit colour display, then
you should fetch the latest version of rclib, at
ftp://ftp.cs.bham.ac.uk/pub/dist/poplog/rclib.tar.gz
or
http://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/research/cogaff/rclib.tar.gz
and untar it into $poplocal/local, to replace your existing rclib.
There was a problem with colours of moving objects on some displays,
which was fixed in december. Alternatively try simply fetching this
file:
http://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/research/poplog/rclib/auto/rc_setup_linefunction.p
which was changed on 25 Dec to automate detection of the screen
depth and other things.
Install it in $poplocal/local/rclib/auto in place of the old
version.
If you already have that file with the revision note at the end
dated 25 Dec 1999, then you'll have to describe the context
in more detail, and even produce the smallest piece of program
you can that produces the problem (e.g. from TEACH RC_LINEPIC)
