I have now added an example of what xvidcap produces, a new run of the
hybrid sheepdog program

It uses a version of mpeg that can be displayed with gmplayer, but not
wiht xine/gxine or mpeg_play.

I don't know whether it can be viewed using windows media player or any
other windows tool. If anyone tries it successfully, please let me know,
and I'll add a comment in this file:

If nothing works, xvidcap does provide me with an alternative slightly
more cumbersome method of making the movies -- instead of making the
mpeg file on the fly it can save all the frames in separate files, which
can then later be converted to a movie using mpeg_encode
