Apologies to people not at Portsmouth. I don't know to whom this
should be addressed.
For some time, pop-forum email has been producing error messages
from portsmouth saying
| X-Report-Type: Nondelivery; boundary="> Error description:"
|
| An error was detected while processing the enclosed message. A list of
| the affected recipients follows. This list is in a special format that
| allows software like LISTSERV to automatically take action on incorrect
| addresses; you can safely ignore the numeric codes.
|
| --> Error description:
| Error-For: smtp"kispalja@sis.port.ac.uk"@cv.port.ac.uk
| Error-Code: 2
| Error-Text: Error in delivery to user SMTP"kispalja@sis.port.ac.uk"
| %MAIL-E-LOGLINK, error creating network link to node SMTP
| -SYSTEM-F-NOSUCHNODE, remote node is unknown
I presume this means that either a local email list at portsmouth
has a wrong entry, or someone there has a buggy forwarding address,
or some such thing.
Is this a departed user who should be removed from the list?
Thanks.
Aaron
