Subject:Euphoria -- a pop11-like language

I've just discovered Euphoria, a language which appears to be very like
a subset of pop11, but with some interesting differences.

The name comes from:
End User Programming with Hierarchical Objects
        for Robust Interpreted Applications

Overview:

Here's the reference manual.

(It too contains its own editor written in euphoria, but I don't know
if it is user-programmable.)

It's free.

It may be worth a detailed comparison if anyone has time to look more
closely than I have.
