I hope someone who understands PCs will find a way to fix that. I am
sure there are other problems.

what Alan described

    So its a pain but just create the approriate files by hand in
    the appropriate directory

As a non-PC user it occurs to me that this might mean simply create
a new directory containing directories disk1...disk10, then one at
a time move the contents extracted by Winzip to the appropriate
disk.

I.e. these files:

Would it help Windows users if I simply create a subdirectory in the
ftp directory containing each of disk1 - disk10 already as above?
