There's no "script" as such for the propsheet in the demo, its done in
the scene script. [In the full-release version of HiPWorks there is a
more polite way of doing the rather nasty things done in the script]

Can't you just subtract the "x" and "y" coordinates of the event from
the "x" and "y" coordinates of the painting?

Also, if it is present in the beta release, you can use the undocumented
procedure
hip_import_painting(filename) -> painting
to import an external image in any of the formats accepted by the
"Import" option on the "File" menu.
BTW it would probably be a good idea to get hold of a copy of the
latest version of HiPWorks --- it's difficult to remember how the
beta-version worked :-)
