Oh Goody. This was exactly the kind of effort I was looking for. Apologies
to this list for the pomp that preceded research on my part!

The "CREDITS" page @ http://openpoplog.sourceforge.net says:

"In 2003, Jonathan Cunningham, Roger Evans and Jeff Best, with the
permission of Aaron Sloman, now at Birmingham University, took the source
code for FreePoplog, released by Sussex University and ISL, and created
OpenPoplog at SourceForge.Net. This version, it is hoped, will attract new
developers to carry on developing the system and preserve the value
created by so many people over such a long time. "

The last bit was precisely my point.

Thanks for the list. What I can offer you is mostly the CVS jobs. I'm
mostly a UNIX user, and so I can't offer you help with the MS Windows
Bits..

Hmm.. how about on a houseboat in the backwaters of Kuttanad, Kerala ?
That would be closer to where I am ;-)

No arguments currently.

Roughly the same scene with me. I need to get my laptop ready to cope,
both with my peripatetic life and my interests. Will email you on
specifics once I've begun.

Thanks for a long and informative post!

Best,

Cherry.
