You don't say what you did to produce this message. Also did you
copy over your startup files (init.p, vedinit.p, etc.) from a
Sun environment?
You may inadvertently have included a request to run some Openlook
stuff.
As far as I know (not being a Linux user) the free Poplog works just
fine on old versions of linux (not ELF versions). The only problem
is the fixed heap size (which is why it is free).

You will need to get Motif for the new non-free ELF version of linux
Poplog, when it becomes generally available but I cannot give any
advice on this. I expect someone else will answer.
I am told that the free versions of motif for linux don't work
(yet). But I've not tried myself.
